SHE ROLLS

Just thought I would put this out there. A little something that could be a song … at least I had music in my head when it came to me all in about 10 minutes. I never tempt fate, so here it is. One last thing, the “rolls” in the chorus are elongated. I just couldn’t decide how to present it. Enjoy

SHE ROLLS

She may not look like she seems
Is she real
Or just a girl
That shows up in my dreams

Long dark hair
And sparkling eyes
Lights up my world
All inside

She rolls on
Deep Inside my head
Can’t seem to get her
Out of my bed

When daylight breaks
I open my eyes
And she is gone
But it’s no surprise

Cause my baby rolls

She rolls on
Inside my head
I go back to sleep
To keep her in my bed

Yeah she rolls
My baby rolls
Yeah my baby rolls
Yeah she rolls

Then one night
Came a knock on my door
I opened up
My jaw dropped to the floor

There she was
The girl in my dreams
In shimmering black
Surrounded by steam

Sashayed right past me
And into my bed
Looked up at me
And this is what she said

It’s just how I roll
It’s just how I roll

Yeah she rolls
My baby rolls
Yeah my baby rolls
It’s just how she rolls

Yeah she rolls
My baby rolls
Yeah my baby rolls
It’s just how she rolls

  1. Dear John, Are we twins, from another mother. I’m happy to know that I am not the only one walking around with words in my head, so full until I have to write, write and write. I really enjoyed reading “She Rolls” it was awesome, humorous and interesting. Ten minutes, keep it coming, cause you are rolling.
